There are so many things I love about this look I don't know where to start. Just a few basic pieces can be added or removed to create an outstanding outfit. I'll begin with my favorite outer layer. This thick, fringe trimmed poncho is my essential go to for fall. Effortlessly chic, it can be thrown on with jeans, leggings or in this case over a carefree denim shirt dress. Layering the pieces adds some unexpected details.
Next up..the boots. Now unless you've been living under a rock, you can probably already tell how insanely popular the suede over the knee look is right now. Just about every brand under the sun has found a way to emulate the luxurious look of the Stuart Weitzman Thighland boot. Welp imitation is the biggest form of flattery and quite honestly we all can't invest $800 on a seasonal shoe. I was lucky enough to find a quality dupe at a mere fraction of the price. Super soft and incredibly comfy, these knockoffs were definitely worth every penny
Lastly, a look that can hold it's own. This chambray shirt dress will soon become an everyday essential in your wardrobe. The piece is sure to survive the seasons. Go for a layered look through the cold months paired with leggings, sweaters or a cute fur vest. Or transition into the warmth with simple gladiator sandals and a cute, cinched waist belt. This is also another item where you don't need to break the bank, mine is from the oldie but goodie..Old Navy. Here I just removed the poncho and added a few accessories to evoke a little edge. Stay on trend with the choker craze and finish it off western influenced statement belt.
